SUMMARY:Hot Off the Press – Opening and 20% Off Sale
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the opening reception and 20% Off Sale for our 27th Cooperative Exhibition\, Hot Off the Press! \nThis summer’s co-op show features the work of 35 local printmakers currently working in Highpoint’s facilities. \nMore than 75 pieces were selected by the co-op’s curatorial committee for exhibition. Printmaking methods represented include lithography\, relief\, intaglio\, screenprinting\, and monotype. These prints will be on view and available for purchase July 10-August 22. \nThe public is invited to an opening reception on Friday\, July 10\, from 6:30-9 pm. At this free event\, guests will have the opportunity to mingle with the artists\, tour HP’s printshop\, and enjoy beverages and hors d’oeuvres. A new group of etchings and screenprints\, this body of work addresses the concept of a “field of study” as a physical space one can experience\, explore\, inhabit\, and collect from.
